In October 2024, Capitec Bank announced that they have restricted their customers from sending funds to companies that trade crypto assets. This restriction applies to their mobile app and business web interface.

If you're a Capitec customer trying to fund your Mesh account, you can do the following:

Make an EFT payment from your online banking web interface (not app)
Use a different bank account (other than Capitec) to make an EFT payment
