As an Issuer, there are fees incurred when you perform certain actions on Mesh. These are the different types of actions that attract fees:
Issuance Fees
- First time minting to create tokens and reserve token and asset codes.
- Per token minting fee.
- Placement of rights to an instrument on Mesh marketplace.
- Placement of a new instrument on Mesh marketplace.
- Burning fee charged for removal of existing tokens from circulation.
Defunding Fees
- Defunding of mZAR to your linked ZAR account.
Transfers
- The transfer of mZAR stablecoin between Mesh accounts
- The transfer of mZAR instrument tokens between Mesh accounts
- The transfer of cryptocurrency tokens between Mesh accounts

If your Mesh account does not have a sufficient balance available, you will not be able to issue, mint, or place your created instrument on the platform.
